Psalm 9:10

Updated: Nov 15, 2022

Psalm 9:10 says: And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek you.

Have you experienced the faithfulness of God? That time you thought would destroy you? The time you couldn’t breathe? And then miraculously, you were still standing and breathing?

There are so many scenarios in life that are dark and bring sorrow. Some are to us individually, some to our families, our nation, our world. And we hear people shake their fists at God and wonder how He could allow such tragedy.

Here’s the thing: He says in His word that we will have trials and tribulations (John 16:33), that we need to rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation and be constant in prayer (Romans 12:12) and that after we have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself restore, confirm, strengthen and establish you (1 Peter 5:10)

Recently in a devotion I read that “we are spiritual beings having a human experience, NOT human beings having a spiritual experience”

For those of us who love Christ, we can trust Him in all things ~ because we know the One who saves us. The One who loves us.

If you are going through a rough time, I’d love to pray for and with you, feel free to reach out.
