In the devotion that I am reading during this advent season it states that the word hope is noticeably absent from the book of Revelation. That is because there will come a day when expectancy, expectation, and waiting expectantly will no longer be necessary. Because of Christ’s return.
We have great hope even in the midst of our sorrows. While we are walking on this earth there will be devastations and trials and tribulations. Those are sprinkled through the joys and sweetness and blessings that the Lord gives us while we are still here on earth.
One day… We will be with him for all eternity and all of our tears will be wiped away!
